Conn “Symphony” Professional Double French Horn in F/Bb – .468″ Bore, Geyer Wrap, 12″ Medium-throat Screw-on Bell, Rose Brass Leadpipe and first branch, Yellow Brass Slide Crooks, Nickel Silver Outer Tubes, Hand-lapped Slides and Rotors, Tapered Rotors and Bearings, Stringed Linkages, Vintage Brass Valve Caps, Reversible 4th rotor, Conn Hard Case and Genuine Conn Mouthpiece – Lacquered Finish
The 11DES has a medium throat which provides control and focus of sound which helps in chamber, solo, and orchestral settings. It is slightly more open playing than the 10DE version. This horn features a Geyer style wrap with a more open style F branch which helps open up the sound. An adjustable finger hook helps the performer be comfortable while performing. This horn also features vintage style valve caps and dual water keys. The 11DES features a detachable yellow brass bell.
